Mixology 201: American Whiskey
It's suggested but not required to take Mixology Fundamentals prior to this class.
September is National Bourbon Heritage Month!
It's time we had a frank discussion about American Whiskey. Bourbon? Rye? Tennessee sour mash? Lets taste these bad boys and find out what makes them different and when and what to mix with them. We will go in depth in to the different classifications of American whiskey and taste them side by side.
The technique portion will re-visit stirring and we will discuss the delicate masterpiece that is the rye Sazerac, as well as the proper way to make a whiskey sour with egg white. Heck, we may even find something to do with Tennessee whiskey.
