The holiday season is upon us and that means it's time to think about how we're going to step up our holiday party game.  Never fear, we've got you covered with this recipe for one of our favorite punches, the Port Royale.  This punch has all the bases covered for a perfect fall punch with a healthy dose of everybody's favorite spirit bourbon as the base.  The tawny port provides another barrel aged component, rounding out the sweet vanilla and spice of the bourbon with some rich nutty and dried fruit flavors.  Cinnamon syrup adds fall baking spice to the harmonious blend of booze and the black tea brings it all together with a fresh, aromatic punchiness that is sure to impress your friends and family alike.  We recommend adding this punch to your repertoire of pocket recipes as it can be scaled down to make an equally delicious single cocktail serving.

5 oz. Buffalo Trace (or similar bourbon)

5 oz. Tawny Port

4 oz. Cinnamon Syrup

4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

12 oz. Black Tea (preferably lapsang suchong)

Combine ingredients in mixing vessel

Pour into punch bowl with plenty of ice

Garnish with lemon wheels
